After a great start to what has become on of the best summers, it gets better! We had such a great July this year and I honestly couldn't feel any more blessed to be able to share in all the fun and be home with our babies. I know it's easier said than done, yes we made some changes and it isn't always easy but I couldn't be more appreciative for this time that I have with our two precious babies and to my amazing husband who works his a$% off for this to be possible for our family!

What do we do when we are sick of the heat and humidity?!

Go to one of our favorite places and have some fun in the air conditioning!

Mason loved all the characters but Izabella wasn't too sure, even though she really likes Dora!

Unfortunately we all were a little under the weather in early July but it didn't last long and it kind of felt good for a change to stay inside and cuddle up in the air conditioning on some really hot days.

We stayed at Nana & Papa McDonald's for the weekend and had some fun outside!

On Saturday, July 21st we joined Nana & Papa Johnson, GG Joyce and Uncle Justin at our Aunt Cindy & Uncle Jeff's cabin in Duluth. They live in Australia but now have a cabin and plan to come back during our summers! It is a cute place on a really nice lake and we had so much fun with everyone and look forward to next year!

Rosemount Days...

It's the last full week of July every year and this year Mason wanted to take part in the Trike, Scooter, and Big Wheel races! He was a little shy at first but Mommy helped him at the start and he rode down to Daddy and did great! He didn't place but had a great time and he keeps talking about racing his scooter next year!

After the races they had a penny scramble for the little ones as well. Mason & Izabella collected a lot of pennies but did not pick up the lucky one to win the prize although they didn't seem care and had a lot of fun!

We enjoyed another great beach party at Prior Lake again this year with all of our friends! We had some fun with the hairspray paint and face/body painting too!

We enjoyed some more activities here in Rosemount and biked down to the carnival and had some fun!

After some rides on Friday evening we got up early and found our spot for the parade on Saturday, July 28th! It was so much fun to see the twins excitement and scramble for a lot of candy that was thrown their way!

Mason's favorite part even if it was a little loud when they turned on their sirens.

Our future princess?! She already is in our eyes!

After the parade, Mommy & Daddy enjoyed an afternoon date! It was so nice to be able to hang out and we scoped out the bean bag tournament for next year! Can't wait!!

The grand finale of Rosemount Days! The rain held off and we enjoyed a great fireworks show in what will now be our new neighborhood!

If our weekend wasn't busy enough, we headed up to Coon Rapids to spend some time with our extended family before one of Mommy's cousins and her family move to Florida!
