Bentleyville

We enjoyed another fun evening on our visit to our hometown with Nana Bonnie & Papa Larry at the tour of lights in Canal Park called, "Bentleyville."  It was our family's first time there and it was simply, amazing!  We had heard about it and seen pictures but just didn't have the chance to take the kids the last couple of years so we made sure to make time and plan a visit this year.  The twins reactions were truly priceless and the time spent together oohing and aahing over the different themes of lights, the free hot chocolate, cookies and popcorn made for a night to remember.  It's times like these that make the Christmas holiday season the best time of the year...

"Happy Holidays from our family to yours."

We love you Nana Bonnie & Papa Larry!

The McDonald Family...2011

"Merry Christmas everyone!"

It's special times such as these that remind me how precious life is and that each and every day we have is truly a gift.  How we choose to spend those days is up to each and every one of us and believe me, I have my "not so good" days as we all do but all I have to do is look my two little miracles and know that no matter what comes, at the end of the day there is nothing more special than their unconditional love.

If someone would have told me four years ago this would be my life, I wouldn't have believed you.  I never thought that after everything the love of my life and I have been through over the last nine years both as individuals and as a couple, many good and a few not so good, that we would be so very blessed with such an amazing gift...family.

Dreams truly do come true.  Don't let go of what's important to you and the hopes and dreams that you have for they will come true one day.  It may not happen tomorrow and you might go through hell to get there but in the end, everything that is endured is truly worth it.
"Faith, Hope, & Love...and the greatest of these is Love."

Never let go of your dream...
