As many of you know, my Grandma Joyce was diagnosed with breast cancer in May. It was a difficult time for all of us for there were many variables being it was not safe to do a biopsy separately being she is on blood thinners. We had to trust our instincts as well as the doctors and my amazing mother-in-law Bonnie who has both professional and personal experience. Thank you so very much for everything MIL, I love you and we greatly appreciate all that you have done for our family!
With everything considered Grandma decided to move forward with a lumpectomy on June 15th and I am happy to say that she is doing great and the doctor was successful in removing all the cancer! We will know more, if anything more is recommended, after meeting with a medical oncologist.
No matter what happens from here, we are reminded just how fragile life is and to live each day to it's fullest and I am so very thankful that my Grandma has many more beautiful days to share with us!
We love you Grandma~GG Joyce!
