Unfortunately the McDonald household has been sick the last week or so. It started out with Mommy, then Mason & Izabella, now to Daddy.
We enjoyed a pretty fun weekend overall with a visit to the Children's museum on Friday with friends, a house warming party on Saturday, and a visit from Grandma & Grandpa McDonald on Sunday! But after that day, it unfortunately got icky around our home. Mommy started with a cold and unfortunately passed it on to Izabella. Mason started out with a cold, then a high fever which finally broke early Wednesday morning! Later that day he broke out in a rash which we helped us figure out what was going on. Mason got the viral illness, Fifth's disease. I guess it's very common in children and there is no medicine to help but fortunately he's doing better and has no longer had a fever. Still has a cold and likes to sleep and cuddle but is finally eating, playing and smiling again! Now, Daddy has a bad cold but is starting to feel better today so we are hoping we are on the mend and will have a good weekend?!?!
