We had a beautiful holiday season filled with special memories as a family and with extended family & friends! We enjoyed new and old traditions of making Christmas cookies; visiting Santa, cuddling up watching The Polar Express; enjoying a ride in the car with Christmas music playing while sipping on hot chocolate and looking at Christmas lights; and loving every moment with our two little miracles. Mason & Izabella were all about Christmas this year, from seeing where their elf "Cars" was every morning to the simple joy of opening presents! This year they knew the one thing they wanted from Santa; a remote control monster truck and bunk beds with two babies, two bottles, and two horsies...Santa delivered!!
But this year Santa made a special stop at our home a few days early so we could spend a little more time with our niece/cousin Sophie and Auntie & Uncle too! We enjoyed a nice long weekend with Nana Bonnie, Papa Larry, Auntie Angie, Uncle Joey, GG Corrine as we celebrated Sophie's first Christmas Eve! She also was baby Jesus at church (sorry I didn't have many pictures that turned out well) and did great, she loved being in the spotlight although it tired her out!
Christmas Day morning we soaked in a few more cuddles and kisses with Sophie before she left to celebrate with the Swanson family and we headed over to Nana & Papa Johnson's as well! We snuck in a quick visit, as always, to the Leighton's and then enjoyed our Christmas Day evening with Nana Nancy, Papa Mike, Uncle Justin, Auntie Jenny, & GG!
It was a beautiful Christmas holiday filled with so much love and laughter. Thank you to all of our family and friends for everything, we love you all so very much!
