Christmas Fun!

The holidays started out great and continued through the month of December with old & new traditions and what has become our annual holiday gathering with friends!
We enjoyed some shopping at the Southdale mall with the family and
made sure to send a letter to Santa at Macy's!
We had some sugary fun once again this year!
Santa's elf had to get ready for our annual Christmas party for he made a surprise visit once again for all of our guests!  We had a great time on Friday, December 14th with a great group of friends!  Once again, my amazing, talented friend Colleen took pictures for me to share with all of you!

Eddie made an appearance after a special request, haha!

Santa arrived!
Mason loved Santa this holiday season and couldn't wait to tell him what he wanted for Christmas, "a remote control monster truck."  Izabella wasn't too sure but from a distance would tell Santa what she wanted, "bunk beds, with two babies, two horsies, and two bottles."
This picture is priceless but yet so special for this is all of the children of this amazing group of friends we have been honored to be a part of these last few years!
The gentlemen...
& the ladies! (We missed you Matt & Jillian!)
Reindeer food...
We had some fun with the kiddos preparing their own little mason jar of reindeer food to be spread outside for Santa's reindeer on Christmas Eve!
Merry Christmas from the McDonald family & Santa too!
As we celebrated the holiday season with our friends this evening, all of our hearts were with the families of those lives lost earlier in the day at Sandy Hook Elementary School...words can not express how saddened we were yet how grateful we were to be together with our children and hugging them tighter than ever.
Our continued thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected in such a horrible tragedy...
