Remember...

"Where were you when the world stop turning on that September day?"

I remember the day like it was yesterday.  I was working at Wells Fargo in the drive thru at the time and heard it over the radio.  I called Scott right away to hear his voice, he had already heard the horrible news as well.  Throughout the day there was radio and television within our branch for all to hear and see but to also know what was going on and who would do such a thing.  It was everywhere and all I could think about was how could someone or a group of people be so full of hatred.  I couldn't and will never understand...
That night was unlike any other night in the Twin Cities, not a plane in the sky and so very quiet.  Scott and I got out of the house for dinner because we just couldn't watch the television anymore and wanted to try and talk and think about something else which was very hard to do.  That night was different from other nights for so many reasons...we held each other a little tighter and reminded ourselves what life is truly about.
September 11, 2011 was a lot the same on the 10 year anniversary.  We held each other and now our children a little tighter and thank God for each and every day that we have together but will never forget how life changed on that September day...
