August

Summer can get a little tiring...

No summer is complete without a little camping!
We did a little test run closer to home for the twins first time and they loved every minute of it! It was so nice to get away for the night as a family.

After a month of long hard work…
Scott finished and christened the deck!
It turned out amazing and am so proud of him and
thankful for all that helped us along the way!

We enjoyed National Night Out at a church by our
home with our neighbor friends!

While it's nice to be outside in the summer, it's definitely nice to change it up when it's really hot outside and be inside to play so for the day we headed to the Children's Museum with our neighbor friend Brady!

After a fun afternoon that Children's Museum we went for a walk that evening…August 7th,
unfortunately it didn't end well for a couple blocks from our home a dog ran out of no where, bit Mason (who was on his bike) and took off behind a home.  Fortunately, the owners were home and came outside right away to apologize and show us that the dog was up to date on his vaccinations but unfortunately, it has definitely effected him when it comes to dogs and the bite was deep enough that Mommy took him to Children's for a couple stitches and to clean out the wound.  Our neighbor, who is a volunteer firefighter recommended we contact the police too so they are aware of the situation and they handled it from there. It was a very scary situation but our brave little man was a champ through it all and even watched them put the stitches in!
Now back to more summer fun with our friends in Lake City
while enjoying the day on Lake Pepin!

On our way home we had some fun sight seeing in Red Wing!

Our baby girl finished up her summer gymnastics and did great!
Way to go Bella!  We are so proud of you!

Of course no summer would be complete without Mommy's annual girls weekend!
Another great & relaxing weekend with the best of friends!
Love my ladies!
Friday night lights…
We enjoyed a weekend up in Superior and took the kiddos to their first
Superior Spartan football game to watch Scott's cousin Joey play!
Made a stop at Play-it-Again to fit Mason for some hockey gear for the season!

Wouldn't be complete without visiting our friends Jackson and Olivia!
But, the main reason we were visiting was to support our amazing Mom/Nana taking part in the Dragonboat races and watching her with all of her breast cancer survivor friends race!  These ladies are amazing and an inspiration to us all and in honor of them they asked us all to throw out rose petals in the water in their honor.
It was truly an emotional, well deserved tribute...

Minnesota State Fair fun!

It was a hot and humid day but it didn't stop us from
having a great night eating lots of great food!

Summer fun with our neighbor friends on Prior Lake!

Best Buds…Tess & Bella

Bowling fun with our friends Raegan and Jackson!
Mommy & Daughter date…pedicures and lunch!
See ya summer…it was another great & memorable one!
