Well after everyone's advice, including doctors, family members, and breast cancer survivors themselves, Grandma Joyce decided on a lumpectomy. Her surgery took place on a Friday morning and things honestly couldn't have gone better! Grandma did well and was her old self by noon that same day, it's as if nothing ever happened! From there, decisions as to what if anything to do next have now come and gone and as of today, Grandma is cancer free and not pursuing any other treatment at this time. She's doing great and enjoying her summer with her daughter and son-in-law visiting from Australia for the next month! A special thank you to my mother for all she has done for her mother/my grandma. You are truly amazing Mom and I love you!

After a mix of emotions morning, it was the perfect evening to enjoy a ride with my Dad on his Harley! Thanks Dad, can't wait to join you someday on my own bike!
