Colorado, March 14th-18th

Our trip to Denver was amazing, I love the mountains, they are just breathtaking!  We had a relaxing day on Sunday after we arrived but on Monday we hit the road and enjoyed visiting Golden, Colorado and visiting the Coors Brewery.  It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed some great beer, yes I even enjoyed it!  From there we went to Blackhawk, Colorado and had a beautiful drive through mountains to this old mining town.  We had a great time taking in all the scenery and had some fun at one of the many casinos playing blackjack.  We even won some money!  We enjoyed a beautiful drive back to the city of Golden where we enjoyed a great dinner at a local sports bar.  It was an amazing day but yet so odd to be on our own without our sweet little Mason & Izabella, we missed you so very much!
On Tuesday we enjoyed another great day driving to Boulder, Colorado and making our way to the Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. Did I mention I love the mountains?!?! WOW, simply breaktaking and another remembrance of how beautiful life truly is and the gifts that life has to offer us...
Wednesday, March 17th, St. Patty's Day and my 30th Birthday!!!
I enjoyed the most amazing birthday with the love of my life!
We had a wonderful day together starting out with romantic, relaxing couples massage at a spa downtown Denver.  After, we enjoyed walking around downtown in the beautiful weather, warm sunshine and even had lunch outside, it was great!  Of course, we also had to visit Coor's Baseball Field, home of the Colorado Rockies.  It was beautiful and made us even more excited for the new Twin's stadium opening next month!  We can't wait to sit outside and enjoy a baseball game.  From there we made our way to Littleton, Colorado where we enjoyed a drink on the rooftop of Merle's bar and enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous day.
After we were finished my hubby treated me to an amazing fondue dinner at the Melting Pot.  It was so much fun and great food, we can't wait to do it again!  Thank you honey for an a day I will never forget, I love you...
It was a wonderful trip and we enjoyed every moment although there was always something missing....our beautiful babies, Mason & Izabella who were in the wonderful loving hands of Grandma & Grandpa McDonald and Grandma & Grandpa Johnson.  Thank you so very much for taking such wonderful care of our babies, we appreciate all that you did for us as well as Mason & Izabella.
We love you so very much!
It's amazing now having children of our own, at the same time you can be so excited to be on vacation but yet so excited to come home.  We missed you like crazy Mason & Izabella and we can't wait for you to see this beautiful world we live in!
